Infotek Consulting is searching for a seasoned Vendor Manager - this is a hybrid contract assignment based in Toronto.
Newly implemented enterprise-wide IT Risk Management governance/guidelines across the bank, specifically regarding the technology risk from a vendor technology perspective (ie say they onboard x application/platform, they now need to perform risk assessments SOC reviews and design and implement specific controls to ensure compliance with Technology Risk Management and Governance Frameworks
Will be performing 3rd party risk assessments, SOC Reviews and all other due diligence activities.
Working to implement a new SaaS/PaaS IAM vendor solution.
This individual will be a point of contact for everyone – they need to be able to speak to non-technical business stakeholders, communicate with technology and also be able to effectively manage 3rd party vendors
MUST HAVE:
University Degree or equivalent, in business-related or finance discipline
2+ years of relevant professional experience in managing suppliers (sourcing or contract negotiation, supplier risk management or supplier relationship management professionals) or running projects of software implementation
Excellent understanding of suppliers, products, and trends in the financial service/investment industry
Knowledge of Systems/Software Development Life Cycle, including software models (e.g cloud, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, etc.)
Nice to haves
Experience working in a Cyber Security role
Experience on projects or programs that require acquisition of new supplier or services
Knowledge of commercial purchase contract language
