Are you the person we’re looking for?
You might be if :
- You understand the sales process stages and are focused on delivering a fantastic customer experience throughout
- You have the mindset of a hunter and a proven track record
- You have a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in business development in technical sales
- You are very comfortable with software, including Microsoft products and possibly Salesforce
- You have good English skills in both verbal and written
- You are available to travel as needed
- You know the kitchen cabinet industry
What will your work week look like?
Your responsibilities will include :
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with existing clients and prospects
- Proactively organizing and performing strategic sales development activities, prospecting strategy, finding new leads, and qualifying leads.
- Documenting and tracking your activities in Salesforce
- Organizing virtual software demonstration meetings with prospects
- Preparing and presenting quotes for prospects and making the necessary follow-ups to conclude the sales process; negotiating and getting signed contracts
- Respond to questions, comments, complaints or other needs of clients and prospects
- Working with marketing to coordinate seminars and workshops within your territory
- Representing Planit at industry events and trade shows
- Attending the annual company retreat in person
- Attending training events
