We are searching for a results driven individual who can build a team of motivated high performers in a fact-paced manufacturing operations.

Job duties include but is not limited to:

• Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily operations;
• Oversees all manufacturing activities of the plant;
• Operating within budgetary guidelines;
• Maintains optimum operation by assigning manpower resources efficiently and effectively;
• Drive the production schedules to meet customers’ requirements, reviews waste, quality deficiencies reports and identify areas for improvements;
• Develop and executes solutions for various manufacturing issues;
• Enforces all quality, health and safety and company policies and procedures;
• Monitor all equipment and ensure repairs takes place as needed and plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work.
• Manage daily issues and concerns from internal and external customers and collaborate with the team to develop solutions and corrective actions.
• Conduct performance reviews for direct reports identifying achievements and areas requiring improvement and follows through on action items for development and/or improvement.
• Comply with and oversee the application of procedures necessary for ensuring the production of quality labels in accordance with customer specification and on-time delivery.
• Leads and champions the health and safety program

Skills and Knowledge requirement:

• Must possess a university degree and 5-7 years plant management experience in a similar industry;
• Experience with budgeting and sound understanding of financial operations management;
• Leadership skills to tactfully motivate employees for continual efficient operation of the plant;
• Expertise in continuous improvement and knowledge of systematic problem solving processes (e.g. Lean);
• Understanding of problem-solving skills to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it;
• Proven track record in improving employee performance and achieving KPI’s;
• Excellent communication skills to be able to tactfully speak with personnel at all levels of the organization;
• Time management and organization skills required to meet production deadlines, shipping dates and projects;
• Must possess a sense of urgency.
• Fluent with Microsoft suite and ERP systems.
