We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic marketing agency. Reporting to the Account Director, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong client relationships while overseeing the successful execution of marketing campaigns and projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of account management experience in a marketing or advertising agency setting.

Primary Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their goals, objectives, and professional needs.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Continuously assess client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Project Oversight:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, strategy, and digital, to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns and projects.
- Responsible for preparing project briefs outlining client goals, project / campaign strategy and tactics, aligning to the client’s request.
- Develop and closely monitor concise scope of work proposals, work-back schedules, and budgets.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring client expectations are well communicated, then met - or exceeded.
- Review all client deliverables before it goes back to the client for review / approval.
- Support the organic growth of existing clients through project proposals / upselling when it makes sense for a client’s business.
Financial Tasks:
- Create and manage project estimates and purchase orders in conjunction with the designated Account Coordinator.
- Maintain all project budget sheets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Responsible for weekly revenue forecasting updates for assigned accounts.
- Assist with invoice processing for assigned accounts.
- Working with the Account Coordinator, provide clear instructions to the finance team on the billing status of each project.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Participate in strategy and planning with the Account Director.
- Enforce processes and structures as set by the Account Director to maintain organizational efficiency across accounts.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in account management, project management, or client-facing roles within the marketing, advertising, or creative agency sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Workamajig, and Jira.
- Clear understanding of marketing concepts, digital strategies, and the execution of diverse campaigns.
- Positive demeanor, proactive approach to problem-solving, and a collaborative mindset.
