Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Duration: 12 months
Required Skills:
Provides project management on large-scale, complex, high profile and high-risk projects for Public Sector I&IT initiatives.
Project management experience leading and planning complex, mission-critical projects or initiatives involving business transformation and design, development, and implementation of IT Health-related solutions.
Working with business analysts and system designers to define project scope, and design and translate the business requirements and functional specifications into an application design appropriate to meet the business and operational/IT needs
Acting as the senior business/technical expert, coordinating all aspects of a specific deliverable including the oversight of team members where appropriate.
Developing detailed project management documentation
Developing and preparing reports and presentations, including options, recommendations, implementation plans, designs, strategies, and change-management options
Providing project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to multi-stakeholders at management levels
Deployment to meet the functional and non-functional requirements, adhering to GO-ITS and Digital Health standards and internal branch standards and, in some cases, proposing amendments to those standards.
Experience with project management software such as MS Project, Planview, Jira, and Confluence
Experience in managing projects using Agile project management methodologies for the analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications in large, complex environments
