You will be essential to managing and streamlining the moving operations in Toronto as an Operations Manager. You will oversee properly managing teams and resources to guarantee a seamless, effective, and superior moving service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews of a group of moving employees.
• Ascertain that the group follows safety protocols and corporate rules, is driven, and has the necessary tools.
• Simplify movement procedures to improve productivity and operational effectiveness.
• Create and put into action plans to enhance productivity, economic efficiency, and resource usage.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, guaranteeing top-notch support and swiftly and competently handling any questions or issues.
• Work together with the customer service and sales departments to meet and beyond client expectations.
• Plan and schedule the logistics and scheduling of the moving process, including the equipment allotment, transportation, and route planning.
• In charge of inventory management, make sure that all moving materials and equipment are accurately tracked and accountable for.
• Establish and uphold quality standards to fulfil or surpass industry norms and customer expectations.
• To make sure that set policies and procedures are being followed, conduct routine audits and quality checks.
• Keep an eye on operational budgetary allotments and expenditures and offer suggestions for cost containment and budget optimisation.
• To guarantee accurate financial reporting and adherence to financial goals, collaborate closely with the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in operations management from a moving or logistics company.
• A bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a similar discipline.
• Strong communication, organising, and leadership abilities.
• Outstanding ability to solve problems and pay attention to details.
• Familiarity with software and technologies unique to the sector.
• Experience of dealing with laws and practises pertaining to moving services.
