Job Description: To increase the company’s volume and profitability by providing guidance to sales, marketing & procurement. Designing necessary programs to meet the objectives the company while providing technical and market specific knowledge both internally into a vast range of customers.
Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for all purchasing aspects of hand tools, power tools and related accessories and related products. Knowledge of brands such as Milwaukee, Makita, Stanley, Ridgid and others.

· Budgeting

· Procurement
Will work with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Purchasing to increase profits and grow the volume of the category while focusing on key brands and inventory turns.
· Expected to work with territory reps, and branch managers
· Design and coordinate marketing and sales strategy
· Communicate with vendors while working with purchasing to design inventory plans
· Make Customer visits
· Placing, sending and following up on orders to suppliers to ensure their timely arrival
· To ensure that products are procured, at the required quantity and quality, and at the correct time, ensuring the optimum cost benefit to the company.
· To know the meaning and understand product categories and groups in the inventory file, and how these settings affect inventory.
· To maintain vendor backorders and to liaise with suppliers on the delivery times of purchase orders.
· Create new and manage existing inventory files in software using information collected from vendors.
· Assist the Sales Department with up to date pricing for quotations
· Prepare reports, worksheets and other various administrative duties as required
· The position will require some travel, and must be able to enter the United States
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Strong Selling skills
· Extremely well organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to work with multiple departments
· Post secondary and minimum 10 years tool industry experience
· Strong product knowledge of tools and willingness to learn more about them
· To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner
· Good organizational skills
· Close attention to detail is essential
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Must be very proficient, quick and comfortable with personal computer navigation and
