Our Project Managers demonstrate a high level of technical, industry knowledge and skills, specifically in the areas of Project & Program Management across various practice areas.

You are ambitious, enthusiastic and adaptable with the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. You have solid working experience and understanding of the processes within Technology Consulting Services. You are confident, ambitious and have the ability to wear multiple hats and adapt to changing needs and environments while working independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead, participate and oversee overall project management through planning and administration which includes building and overseeing progress reports, client briefings, program plans, communications, client briefings, presentations, deliverables and reporting
• Lead technology teams to deliver solutions to address client requirements within time, cost and quality constraints
• Oversee assigned work related to project deliverables and lead efforts related to project scoping, approach design, team structure, effort and timeline estimation, etc. in support of Technology-related projects and programs
• Provide Technology thought leadership to clients and internal teams
• Ability to identify project issues and risks and prepare mitigation plans
• Ability to develop, manage, and execute end-to-end solutions to clients’ needs and requirements
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and mentoring of project teams
• Provide career management, professional development, and support of Practice employees through Optimus SBR’s Career Development Program (CDP)

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
• Experience leading complex enterprise projects with high level of complexity is required
• Strong technology foundation achieved through experience in implementing large technology scale program(s) is required
• Previous technology advisory and management consulting experience, is considered a strong asset
• Knowledge of project/program management methods, alternative delivery models (e.g., Agile), and common technology priorities (e.g., digital, digitization, cloud migration) is considered a strong asset
• Must be comfortable engaging in strategic discussions with stakeholders at the executive level
• Strong people skills with an ability to lead, motivate, coach and mentor
• Excellent facilitation skills and ability to sell ideas and recommendations to various stakeholders
• Self-directed, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Highly developed writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Results-oriented individual with the ability to meet aggressive timelines
• Innovative and dynamic. Brings an entrepreneurial spirit to our business
• Strong work ethic and someone who is energetic, enthusiastic and committed to developing their career
• Required Education: Related University Degree
• Preferred Education: Post-Graduate degree, MBA, PMP, CMC or other relevant designations (e.g., technology certifications); or equivalent experience
