Reporting to the supervisor, the Snow Plow Driver will work from the Morrisburg or Summerstown yard(s) by completing various snow removal tasks.

Key Responsibilities include :

• Operate the plow equipment, spreader and/or tow plow ensuring the assigned route is adequately and safely plowed
• Respond to winter events and adapting to any hazardous situations
• Operate front-end loader to load material (salt/sand) into spreader
• Conduct general maintenance and visual inspection of the vehicle.
• Maintain an accurate logbook and conducts pre & post trip inspections, reporting defects or calibration concerns
• Complete paperwork accurately, recording material usage, time, kilometres and location.

Position Requirements :

• A valid AZ or DZ license is required
• Manual transmission experience is preferred
• Min. 1 year of professional truck driving experience
• AZ-DZ or bus-driving School graduates will also be considered.
• Clean driving record and CVOR abstract required
• On-the-job plow training is provided for this role
• Must be available days, evenings, nights, weekends
