Human Resources Manager
Location: Brantford, ON
Salary: $100,000- $125,000 per year plus benefits & RRSP
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our client in Brantford, Ontario. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive work culture.
Responsibilities:
- and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
- recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and promote career advancement.
- payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
- with department managers to address staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
- initiatives to promote employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- HR-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to employees and managers.
Requirements:
- degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- of 5 years of progressive experience in HR management roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- knowledge of employment legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
- in HRIS and payroll systems; experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset.
- organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- leadership abilities with a focus on fostering a positive work culture and driving employee engagement.
- to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
