Can Grow is looking to hire a Crop Inputs Sales Agronomist.

Can Grow is looking for a motivated, forward-thinking and dedicated individual to join their team to work in Lambton, Elgin & Middlesex Counties,

The Crop Inputs Sales Agronomist will provide farm customers with agronomic service and information while being responsible for selling Can Grow’s proprietary product lines of Fertilizer, Foliar crop products and Market Leading Biological Products to growers in the Territory.

Desired Skills and Experience

Revenue Generation

• Prospect and sell new accounts via cold calling, networking, industry events and other means
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts in the Territory
• Meet/Exceed sales goals
• Improve company profitability through understanding customer needs and requirements to maximize the customer and company ROI
• communicate company services and unique characteristics to potential customers

Product and Industry Knowledge

• Understand and sell a variety of products including Fluid Fertilizers, BIological Crop Inputs and Plant Health Systems
• Understand and Resolve Customer Cropping Challenges with solid Solutions for the problem
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry products and technology
• Relay competitive information, gather information, identify those markets, and make suggestions on how to react

Additional Requirements

• Be able to communicate up, down and across the organization
• Carry strong presentation skills
• Have strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize client needs in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain timely entry of orders and all other necessary administrative requirements to finalize customer orders
• Have strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel, PowerPoint, and Sales business apps
• Collect customer past due accounts if needed
