New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Program Manager to provide leadership for the MEDITECH Expanse Readiness and Activation stream at local hospital facilities and beyond.

The Program Manager will be responsible to:

• Work with project resources to collect requirements, define scope, verify and control scope.
• Work with stakeholder groups to review, identify, clarify and prioritize business and technical requirements
• Provide scoping of proposed solutions
• Aid in the development of a roadmap for the program and delivery of both interim and long term solutions
• Define project goals and responsibilities including creation of a responsibility assignment matrix.
• Have oversight of the multiple streams of work and ability to manage subprojects
• Define activities, sequence activities, estimation of resources and activity duration.
• Develop and control schedule
• Identify stakeholders, plan, execute and distribute communications and other related project requirements
• Report on performance, budget, schedule, meeting minutes, decisions, outcomes, risks and any other reporting requirements
• Manage budget
• Identify high-level risks as part of the project planning process
• Follow FH structured project management process including Project Charter, budget, and status deliverables.

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Provide regular status reporting to Advance Program leadership as required.
• Ensure appropriate documentation is organized and can be easily audited.
• Ensure time tracking and invoicing processes are followed; suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure process optimization for the Advance Program
• Collaborate with appropriate Steering Committees and Working Groups
• Apply PMI principles and methodology to manage the timelines, resources, scope and quality requirements;
• Use the clients Project Management lifecycle (including TMO artifact templates) to manage this project;
• Maintain project decision, issue and risk logs;
• Budget development, monitoring and reconciliation as required
• Status reporting (budget, deliverables and timelines)
• Execute the following project deliverables: Education and Training Plan, Communication, Change Management, Pre-Go live Training, Go Live Plans, Project Closure Documents
• Track project plans and deliverables
• Provide updates to Leadership and work closely with working groups;
• Participate as a member of the project leadership team
• Provide project management support through coaching and guiding the project team
• Collaborate with other associated project teams as necessary
• Develop Benefits Evaluation framework, including key performance indicators to monitor achievement of target outcomes for primary direct stakeholders
• Implement an effective knowledge management repository to share project learnings within Project team and across other teams
• Other deliverables as necessary to deliver the project

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a Program Manager
• 5+ years of recent experience in Healthcare with a particular focus on IT systems and operational support
• 10+ years of experience managing projects to implement business systems
• Proponent shall possess strong English language oral and written communication skills
• Proponent shall possess strong English language oral and written communication skills
• Proponent shall possess strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
• It is an asset if the proponent possesses experience or knowledge of Meditech Expanse, Clinical Device Integration, Jira
• It is an asset if the candidate possesses a PMP certification
• If is an asset if the candidate possesses working knowledge of Jira

The hourly rate range for this position is $90 - $115, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
