Job Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Implementation Project Manager to join our team. We are an ever-growing software development company founded in Quebec in 1999. We develop high-end IIoT and Industry 4.0 solutions recognized for their positive and concrete impact on the efficiency of the electronics manufacturing industry. More than 450 factories in over 50 countries trust our solutions, and we plan on adding even more factories in the coming years.


In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing simultaneous implementation projects of Cogiscan’s software solutions. You will collaborate closely with Cogiscan’s customers and various internal teams to ensure that the projects deliverables are completed on time and within budget. You will ensure that the implementation of our software meets the expectations of our customers and delivers the expected value.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Project Management:

  • Manage a portfolio of simultaneous software implementation projects for electronics manufacturing customers.
  • Own the full cycle of the software implementation process for assigned projects, from PO reception to delivery.

Planning:

  • Develop end-to-end project timelines according to the customer requirements and our capacity.
  • Plan the projects phases & milestones.

Activities Coordination:

  • Coordinate the deliverables of the various stakeholders involved to ensure projects objectives are met on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the customer onboarding process for new implementation projects.

Communication:

  • Monitor projects status and communicate regular updates with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Update project progress and KPIs via various project tools.

Customer Relationship:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the entire project implementation process.
  • Be proactively ahead of potential bottlenecks by seeking feedback, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Bring the voice of the customer into the rest of the organization. Communicate their business reality and needs with the appropriate department.

Continuous improvement:

  • Identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement tools to continuously optimize the efficiency of our project management processes.

Project Success:

  • Orchestrate the overall implementation of assigned projects and take responsibility for their global success.
  • Drive cross-functional teams to ensure all efforts are done to ensure timely and satisfactory project completion.

 

WHAT YOU IDEALLY NEED TO HAVE

  • 5+ years of project management experience – either in the implementation of business software solutions or in the manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, business, or equivalent education.
  • Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects, solve problems creatively, and meet deadlines.
  • Tech-savvy, with a keen interest in learning about the electronic manufacturing industry.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence and rally colleagues, partners, and customers.
  • Proactive, resourceful, customer-oriented, and a true sense of ownership.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
  • Interest and ability to collaborate with customers and colleagues from various countries & cultures.
  • Availability for occasional meetings outside regular business hours to accommodate customers in various time zones.
  • Bilingual in English and French: Since our interactions with customers are mostly in English, it is essential to be very comfortable in English. Knowledge of French is also required, as our daily communication within the team is in French.

  • You will join the operations and technical support team, and you will collaborate closely with one other Project Manager. Cogiscan's customer projects will be split between the two of you.
  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate with all teams at Cogiscan : Business Development, Marketing, Product Management, Software Development and Finances & Administration.
  • You will work closely with well-known electronics manufacturers based all around the globe to help them be up & running quickly with the implementation of our solutions.
