Position Summary

We are seeking warm, polished, and organized Hosts/Hostesses to be the first point of contact for our guests. At Mita Mita, the host stand sets the tone—welcoming guests with energy, managing the flow of service, and ensuring every arrival feels special.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and waitlists using booking systems
• Escort guests to tables while maintaining an organized seating plan
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to balance sections
• Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance
• Assist with coat check, special requests, and guest accommodations
• Create a welcoming, upbeat first and last impression for all guests

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) is an asset
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
