Line Cook – Yakitori & Hot Pot

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Line Cook with experience in yakitori and hot pot preparation to join our kitchen team at our downtown Vancouver location. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook yakitori, hot pot items, broths, skewers, sauces, and related menu items
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and station organization
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
Assist with inventory, prep work, and kitchen organization
Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth service operations
Keep stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout shifts
Support menu development and creative culinary ideas when needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of line cook experience required
Experience with yakitori, grilling, Japanese cuisine, or hot pot preparation preferred
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ability to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Reliable, organized, and detail oriented
Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
