Positions Summary
We are seeking passionate individuals to bring their culinary expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm to our new restaurant. As a valued member of our back-of-house team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience that aligns with our mission to exceed Member expectations. Bring your love for cooking, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence, and help us set a new benchmark for culinary standards at Hollyburn Country Club.
Position Responsibilities
• Prepare and plate food items according to standard recipes, ensuring consistent quality
and presentation.
• Follow prep lists to complete assigned tasks, including basic cooking duties and
maintaining an organized, clean kitchen.
• Adhere to all nutrition, sanitation, and health & safety guidelines.
• Monitor food stock levels and promptly report any shortages or issues.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
• Take direction from supervisors and execute other kitchen duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a kitchen environment.
• Culinary certification or equivalent professional cooking experience is an asset.
• Strong understanding of safe and sanitary food handling practices.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen and
front-of-house staff.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle the demands of a busy kitchen.

Working Conditions:
• These positions operate 100% on-site
• Regular evenings or weekend work may be required during peak periods or special events
• Own transportation is an asset as public transportation is not frequent to/from the Club
• Candidates must agree to complete a Police Information Check (fully reimbursed upon hire).
