Job Overview: 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
• Stocking and Inventory management (Managing Par Levels of supplies)
• Preparation of food for service (e.g. Fish/Vegetable Preparation, Sauce Preparation )
• Cooperation with the rest of the BOH staff in prep and cleaning duties.
• Answer, report and follow the Head/Sous Chef’s instructions regarding food prep and safety.
• Preparing foods according to Hello Nori Quality Assurance standards in a timely manner
• Comply with food health and safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
• Precisely following recipes listed in the manual
• Maintaining freshness of product and rotating old product out
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times
• Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines
• Maintenance and operation of standard restaurant dishwasher
• Assisting the FOH in packaging production ( e.g. making to go box, ginger, wasabi and soy)
• Check Stock for Fish/Produce/Ingredients/Rice and fill in inventory sheets
• Verify the freshness of products, checking dates on prepared ingredients
• Morning and afternoon prep for core products
• Refilling stations with necessary items for service
• Organizing the walk in fridge/freezer and storage areas
• Sanitization of front and back of house areas
• Removal of trash and linens
• Guest experience and quality assurance when serving guest in FOH
• Communicating with team regarding prep list for each day
