M.C.P. McCaughey Consumer Products Inc. (MCP) is a leading full-service national distributor providing sales, marketing, brand strategy development in the Canadian marketplace for over 27 years.
We are a licenced importer of DIN, OTC, Medical Devices, Cosmetics and Consumer Products. We specialize in assisting clients outside of Canada with regulatory compliance and quality support as the Importer of Record and use the services of a trusted Regulatory and Quality compliance company.
Responsibilities
· Supporting VP of Operations with Regulatory and Quality client onboarding procedures
· Maintain project tracker for each client, overseeing both Regulatory and Quality projects
· Implement new projects and requirements in collaboration with clients
· Product Labeling updates requirements and reviews
· Oversee new item launches and work with 3rd party consultants
· Advise product classifications
· Manage change control processes with 3rd party consultants
· Coordinate client site additions, from gathering information to tracking projects to completion
· Draft and manage Quality Agreements and Pharmacovigilance agreements.
· Oversee Appendix updates
· Collect all necessary data from clients for new item releases
· Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) internally
· Collaborate with our 3rd party consultant group
· Coordinate product recalls in collaboration with QCO
· Oversee the customer complaints process, including reporting functions
· Assist with Emplifi roll out
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Quality Management).
· 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Project Management
· Industry knowledge in Consumer Packaged goods
· Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Quality control and assurance proficiency
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
· Ability to prioritize workload and manage change and conflicting priorities across a diverse portfolio of projects
· Familiarity with Emplifi (Astute) is a asset
· Canadian retailer CPG experience an asset
· Advanced Microsoft Excel, skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and IF Functions
