Akkodis is partnered with a leading provider in payment processing solutions to recruit a hands-on Manager, Systems Infrastructure. They are looking for someone with extensive Azure Cloud experience in addition to managing and maintaining on-premises Datacenter footprint to lead and manage a senior team of engineers in providing operational and project support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of technical System Administrators, ensuring work is delivered with high quality and meets SLAs.
• Oversee daily operations, including incident investigation, automation, and monitoring of systems and services.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, including migration and operation, while maintaining service offerings and capacity planning.
• Lead projects to engineer, deploy, and support technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Establish and enforce technology standards and processes related to systems and storage.
• Provide technical support and coordination for escalated incidents and problems.
• Plan and coordinate hardware and software installations across systems and storage.
• Participate in audits, ensuring compliance with security policies and producing necessary documentation.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster professional growth and development.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or a related field of study or 12+ years of equivalent IT working experience
• Over 8 years in a senior technical position, at least 2+ years of experience in a lead or managerial position
• Expertise building and maintaining Windows and Linux Servers
• Experience in systems patching and vulnerability management
• Experience in architecting solutions on a Cloud Platform (e.g., Microsoft Azure or AWS)
• Proven experience with scripting, automation, and orchestration technologies and languages like batch, PowerShell, VBScript, Ansible, Python, Puppet and GitHub.
• Experience monitoring, and performance tuning tools
• Experience with at least one of the following Redhat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
• Working knowledge with at least one of the following technologies Windows Active Directory (users & computers, groups, OUs, GPOs), File (DFS, NFS, and CIFS), Exchange server/O365, Backup software, Clusters, Datacenter architecture, PKI, RADIUS, DB, Citrix
