Dovetail is a California inspired restaurant in Yaletown. Recognized as Vancouvers best new venue by Georgia Straight. We are currently looking for a senior night manager to help oversee our operations and continue to drive the business forward.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of the restaurant during evening shifts
- Manage and supervise staff members, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Manage service team, including hiring and training.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Responsible for closing routines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in interviewing and hiring new staff members
- Knowledge of food service industry trends and best practices
Total Compensation package around $85,000-$95,000
