The Vancouver Club is looking for a full-time Banquet Captain to Supervise our world class team. The candidate will be dedicated to exceeding expectations of both our members and guests to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided. Teamwork is the key to success in providing a warm and personable experience, the role is to provide excellent guest service with the support of the Food & Beverage team.
The Captain will have a strong desire to learn and develop within the hospitality industry. The club looks for career focused professionals that are excited to experience all this industry has to offer.
The Club is a unique and engaging environment, wages are competitive, health benefits are provided along with other perks. Members of the club are not allowed to give gratuities to the employee's, this is considered in the rate and benefits that are provided.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years experience in Food and Beverage Service
Minimum 2 years leadership experience
Computer Knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership skills to motivate and develop team to ensure accomplishment of goals
Demonstrate superior customer service philosophy
Will be required to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
