Role: Junior Project Manager with Derivatives
Location: Mississauga, ON (hybrid/3 days a week from day one)
Overview:
We are looking for a Technical Project manager with over 5-7 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in project management / digital transformation in banking / financial institutions
- Knowledge of trading, clearing and/or risk management function in exchange, bank and/or brokerage firm
- Experience with Derivatives
- Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing technical projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clarity on project goals and deliverables.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying and addressing project roadblocks and challenges effectively, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential for conveying complex technical information to various stakeholders, including team members, executives, and clients.

- A project manager is to help the senior project manager in defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables of a project, as well as creating a project plan that outlines the tasks, resources, budget, timeline, and risks involved.
- A Project manager may also assist in conducting research, gathering requirements, and communicating with stakeholders and team members to ensure alignment and clarity.
- A project manager needs to have good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a basic knowledge of project management
