VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES – PERSONAL LINES INSURANCE

Opportunity:

Our client, a big brokerage with a phenomenal reputation with both staff and clients; They are looking for a VP of Sales for the Personal Lines Insurance Division.

To ensure success as a VP of Sales, you will need to have a detailed understanding of operations, corporate structures, and business strategy. A top-notch VP will be able to successfully manage and expand organizational objectives and deliver long-term performance gains to the company.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions:

• Overseeing daily operations and performance for the Personal Insurance Division.
• Contributes new, fresh thinking and ideas to the PL business model.
• Attend Prospect and Client Meetings.
• Assessing, evaluating, and reporting on staff as well as key business indicators.
• Strategizing and implementing operational and structural changes with other senior executives.
• Providing oversight and support to the division managers.
• Performing regular analyses of business operations and enhancing current business practices.
• Preparing, delivering, and presenting reports at key executive meetings.
• Ensuring that spending and budgeting are in line with business objectives and relevant legislation.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure company growth and stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A postgraduate degree in business management or risk management. (CAIB, CIP, FCIP)
• Strong Knowledge in Personal Insurance
• 5 Years of Sales Experience
• 5 Years of management/ sales leadership experience
• General Insurance Level 3 License in BC (or eligible to qualify)
• Good Planner and Results Focused (Big Picture Mentality)
• Decision-making, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and work in a team. The Ability to move puzzle pieces.
• Extremely organized, punctual, and goal-driven.
