Job Summary:
Our dynamic and thriving hospitality group is on the verge of an exciting expansion with the launch of our second venue. We're in search of a Head Chef with exceptional culinary talent, kind and professional leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable dishes that will complement our bar program. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the successful launch and ongoing success of our newest addition.
Responsibilities and Duties:
● Lead the development and execution of interesting menu items that align with our brand and add to our strong bar program.
● Take constructive feedback well and work with higher management to translate the desired concept
● Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, establishing a culture of excellence, teamwork, and high performance.
● Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service, quality control, and compliance with the highest standards of food safety.
● Collaborate closely with management to achieve financial objectives, including effective budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
● Foster a creative and dynamic work environment, encouraging innovation, positivity and continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
● Culinary arts degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a high-volume, established establishment.
● Minimum of 5 years' experience in a kitchen leadership role, with a proven track record in menu development and staff management.
● Strong leadership qualities, capable of inspiring and motivating a team.
● Deep knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to impeccable cleanliness and sanitation practices.
● Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills."
