This is an ideal role for a person looking to learn in an entrepreneurial environment and has a client first approach (external and internal client management).

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide project leadership, coordination, and support to internal multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure projects are kicked off appropriately, including setting expectations of project deadlines, planning and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Providing clear, timely and accurate communications to the project team members on all aspects of the projects, including decisions made with the management team.
  • Defining comprehensive project plans that balance scope, time, cost, and resources.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risk and communicate effectively with resolutions.
  • Ensure equipment and components are identified in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with program-management reviews, weekly status reporting, and logistics support (e.g. meeting coordination, reviews of deliverables, project dependencies, etc.)
  • Providing leadership for the delivery and execution of all project phases, with the ability to adapt and still deliver according to the strategic overall plan.
  • Motivating, engaging, and focusing the efforts of multi-site teams by providing clear direction, ensuring access to required tools, and removing barriers as necessary.
  • Playing a role in organizing, attending, and facilitating project workshops with diverse groups of cross-team stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that appropriate processes and techniques are being leveraged by project teams, and that they are executed in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensuring all projects have an appropriate level of governance and are executed in accordance with company's project execution standards and practices.
  • Ensure timely communication of operational status and issues to affected teams including management.
  • Meet and maintain compliance with GMP guidelines.
  • Ensure timely review and updates of manufacturing, validation and other documentation associated with the project(s).
  • Ensuring a successful solution is delivered on time and on budget, and that exceeds expectations - quality and consistency.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc is considered an asset)
  • Project Management Certification is considered an asset
  • Minimum two years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience and good understanding of manufacturing and/or R&D.
  • Experience in project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong communication skills, with the proven ability to motivate others.
  • Strong knowledge of project-management techniques, tools, and methodologies for planning, organizing, and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously (Smartsheet, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel)
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills, with a rigorous approach to organization
  • Strong presentation skills: proven ability to deliver results and project scopes to internal and external clients with confidence.
  • An enthusiastic team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas, and is open to the ideas and input of others.
  • Results-oriented, with a proven track record of delivering on deadline and keeping project teams focused and on track; able to prioritize a wide range of tasks with an understanding of the big picture and inter-dependencies across projects.
  • Positive and energetic attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Fluent spoken and written English; French is an asset.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary

  • Group RRSP (with 4% match program)
  • Annual Vacation and additional Personal Time Off (PTO) program (we are a work/life balance culture)
  • Flexible Work Schedule (including work from home days)
