Markham & Vaughan Campus Market Manager

Join us as a Campus Market Manager, where your zest for education will help shape the minds of our future innovators. Here’s what your day might look like:
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Lead planning of campus events and outreach initiatives based upon an annual plan: Examples include coordination of book clubs, library visits, math events, etc.
- Work with the admissions team for prompt follow-up on leads and assessments: You will own telephone and email follow up for social media and event / community contacts which will involve a high volume of friendly conversations!
- Support personal outreach efforts with the Academic Campus Head
- Understand and promote campus activities on local communication platforms (we will help set this all up!)
- Support referral programs by identifying parents who may be interested in participating
- Ensure needs for creative printed materials / SWAG are coordinated with the head office
- Be ‘the friendly face’ that parents and students know and love (you will be distributing lots of class prizes and treats!)
- Make your campus a home, together with the Academic Campus head! This can include decorating for holidays, collaboration with local vendors and more!
Academic and Operational Support
- Manage classroom resources and distribute curriculum effectively.
- Oversee the welcoming process for new students, including the distribution of welcome packages and special event materials.
- Ensure teaching staff, especially substitutes, are well-supported with supplies and that each campus has a welcoming environment (snack box, etc.).
- Manage campus tour schedule and be aware of all assessments booked on site.
- Coordinate room bookings and campus resource allocation with the director business operations, academic campus head, and finance director.
- Uphold Brain Power’s dismissal and safety policies to ensure a secure learning environment.
- Nice to have, but not required (if role is filled by ECE or a candidate with teaching experience / qualifications): Act as a substitute for
Facilities Management:
- Maintain the campus facility, tackling immediate problems and reporting larger issues as needed. For satellite campuses, regular ‘pop up’ of Brain Power signage and materials is required (given we do not have permanent space). This may require self-storage and transportation in your vehicle.
- Manage the security and safety of the campus, responding to any alarms or incidents.
- Book additional room / space needs based upon campus needs.
Professional Development:
- Conduct and assist in training sessions for assistant teachers and peers.
Summer Season Business Development
- During the June - August period, Brain Power hosts numerous local business development events (fun fairs, activations, etc.).
- The market manager will be responsible for planning and executing a summer activation plan with at least 2+ activations per week, including leads management and tracking.
Requirements:
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, adapting to the vibrant and bustling life of Brain Power.
- Independent self-starter - at a campus you may be working solo to complete many tasks (but well supported by your virtual peers!)
- A passion for education and all things considered 'nerdy' – from literature to science, we love it all!
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children, families, and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a can-do attitude towards campus management.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education or related educational fields, particularly with younger children.
