We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Help facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files and HR databases, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Benefits Administration: Support in administering employee benefits programs.
- Employee Relations: Assist in handling employee inquiries, grievances, and conflicts, maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and workshops, track employee training records, and assist in identifying development opportunities.
- Compliance: Stay updated with labor laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices align with legal requirements.
- HR Projects: Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and contribute to departmental goals.
- General Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining supplies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Human Resources preferred.
- 2 years of experience in HR role. Experience in professional services firm would be a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems (e.g., HRIS).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mentality.
