Artigiano Grand Cafe - savour, indulge, and elevate every moment around the table.
We are seeking Full Time and Part Time Bartenders to join our new Park Royal Grand Café, located in West Vancouver. Must be available weekends and some weekdays.
What we're looking for
- Enjoys building connections with guests, engages in a warm and friendly manner
- Proven ability to create regulars and loyal relationships
- Flexible schedule that includes working nights and weekends
- Penchant for bar/cocktail history
- In depth knowledge about beer, spirit, cocktail and wine styles and methods.
- Knowledge of Italian wines, amaros, and aperitivos is a plus
- Strong knowledge or curiosity about ingredients and cooking styles
- Ability to guide guests through the menu
- Can accurately take and ring in food and beverage orders
- Attention to detail as well as care for guest dietary restrictions and preferences
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
- Preference for working in a team environment
- Penchant for cleanliness and an orderly work environment
- WSET considered an asset
Requirements
- Serving it Right
- 2+ years bartending experience
- Basic math and English grammatical skills are necessary
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs as well as long shifts standing, walking, and moving about
