ZIKR is a new Indian restaurant located inside the Holiday Inn Hotel in Cloverdale, BC, and we are looking for friendly, energetic, and service-focused Servers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, confident in delivering excellent guest service, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. We are looking for team members who are professional, well-organized, and committed to creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
• Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, daily features, and beverage offerings
• Make recommendations and upsell food, drinks, and desserts when appropriate
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally
• Process bills and payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, side stations, and service areas
• Follow restaurant service standards, policies, and health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous serving experience in a restaurant is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be reliable, professional, and well-presented
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Serving It Right certification is required
