We are seeking a talented Pastry Cook to join our team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for creating and baking a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. The position reports directly to the Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the creation and baking of various pastries, cakes, and desserts
-Follow recipes and instructions perfectly to ensure consistency and quality
-Ensure that all baked goods are of the highest quality and presentation
-Help maintain a clean and organized work area
-Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
-Work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Requirements:
-A passion for pastry and baking
-Formal culinary training or equivalent work experience
-Ability to follow both instructions and recipes perfectly to ensure consistency and quality
-Excellent organizational and time management skills
-Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
-Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
-Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
