Description: - Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and preparing sauces. - Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately. - Organize and maintain a clean and tidy prep area. - Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and tracking ingredient levels. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow. - Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. - Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed. - Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred. - Basic understanding of food preparation techniques. - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and portioning ingredients. - Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. - Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
