Takja BBQ House is seeking a talented junior sous/senior cook to join our team. We are a new premium Korean restaurant located on College Street in Toronto's West End. Our focus is on dry-aged beef and pork paired with classic fermented side dishes.
The Junior Sous Chef/ Senior Cook will assist our CDC in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in restaurant management is a plus
- Team management experience preferred
