As a Laundry Attendant at Rosemead House, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and luxurious stay. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will contribute to the exceptional guest experience we strive to provide. Responsibilities:
Laundry Operations:
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, staff uniforms and other hotel laundry items according to established procedures.
• Operate and maintain washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all laundry items are cleaned and presented to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Inventory and Quality Control:
• Monitor laundry supplies and notify the supervisor when inventory levels are low.
• Inspect all laundered items for stains, tears, and damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry loads, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels.
Hygiene and Safety:
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area at all times.
• Adhere to Rosemead House’s hygiene standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure guest safety.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a similar role in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
