About the position:

As an Inside Sales Representative at Univar Solutions, you will be responsible for managing accounts assigned within a geographic sales territory. In the role you will close new business opportunities at both existing and prospective accounts while increasing your territory profitably and market share using a consultative selling process.

What you’ll do:

• Manage existing customer relationships and portfolios.
• Work with internal resources to develop new opportunities.
• Provide research and insights on new and existing customers.
• Help expand the customer base via leads and cold calls.
• Onboard new customers and develop relationships.
• Participate in new product launches and campaigns aligned with the sales strategy.

How you will do it:

• Complete target sales calls and cold calls per week.
• Participate in in-person meetings with clients, as required.
• Manage customer quotes, forecasts, and other business needs.
• Work with industry/product managers on new opportunities and strategies.
• Report on sales activity and portfolio goals.
• Other duties as required.

What we would like from you:

• A team-oriented individual who wants to learn, contribute, grow and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• University degree or diploma and two (2) years’ specialized training in related field preferred (i.e. chemistry, sales, technical).
• Minimum 1-year previous sales experience preferred.
• Ability to relate to and communicate with individuals at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• SalesForce.com experience an asset.
• Must be bilingual in French and English.
