What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take charge of our sales team, inspiring and guiding them to success
- Drive rental revenue and profit objectives to new heights
- Track and Improve: Monitor sales performance against plan, conduct regular sales meetings, and initiate impactful sales campaigns
- Manage rental rates and continuously strive to improve rate and utilization
- Maintain close communication with branch operations personnel to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
- Assist the Credit Department in their collection efforts
- Collaborate with Fleet Management to pursue lucrative equipment sales opportunities
- Keep everyone in the loop by reporting monthly on key sales activities and outcomes against the plan
- Develop sales strategies for key market segments, contributing to the company's overall growth
- Become highly involved in our marketing strategy through networking events, social media, and industry campaigns
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years in the construction equipment rental industry or equivalent, with at least 6 years of Sales Management experience
- Strong time management, presentation, and negotiating skills
- Broad knowledge of construction equipment is an asset
- Strong ability to lead and inspire a team
- A business undergraduate degree would be a significant asset
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with PowerBI is an asset
- Availability to travel regularly throughout the region; this is primarily a field-driven position
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with customers, employees, and other parties at all levels of the organization in a professional manner
