Title: Senior Manager, Enterprise Applications & Governance

Location: Toronto, ON. Hybrid - 1 day in office 4 days remote

As the Senior Manager of Enterprise Applications & Governance at our client, your primary mission is to enhance the lives of employees, especially those living in remote mining camps, by providing robust and reliable IT systems. You will focus on supporting core functions and resolving issues related to SAP, Workday, and OneStream. Your role is crucial in understanding and addressing end-user challenges, driving system adoption, and training users to ensure they can perform their jobs efficiently.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Applications Support (70%):

• Manage and support enterprise applications including SAP, Workday, and OneStream.
• Oversee the continuous improvement and stabilization of SAP S/4 HANA and OneStream.
• Address integration challenges with Workday and SAP, aiming for seamless functionality.

Governance (30%):

• Implement and maintain IT governance frameworks, focusing on auditing and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to SOX compliance and other regulatory standards.

Change Management:

• Lead efforts to standardize processes across the organization, leveraging SAP to centralize operations.
• Provide strategic direction for future system enhancements and integrations.

Key Projects:

• System Stabilization: Ensure SAP S/4 HANA, Workday, and OneStream systems are stable and optimized for end-users.
• Training and Adoption: Develop and implement training programs to increase system adoption and proficiency among employees.
• Strategic Planning: Identify and propose new IT projects for 2025 and beyond, focusing on growth and efficiency improvements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Experience with SOX compliance and managing applications.
• Conduct and oversee risk assessments, collaborating with internal audit teams and external firms like PWC and Deloitte.

• Passionate about improving processes and delivering high-quality IT support.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience managing ERP, HCM, EPM, EHS, and other enterprise systems.
• Experience in IT governance.
• Proficient in software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and organizational change management.
• Experience with AMS providers and external auditing firms.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC).
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, with additional experience in OneStream and Workday preferred.
• Solid understanding of data analysis and mining industry operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IT standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, COBIT, ITIL).
• Proficiency in MS collaboration tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Certifications in PMP, Agile, DevOps are an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern integration technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to sustain and support IT systems while driving continuous improvement.
• Project management experience and a passion for delivering high-quality IT solutions.
