Our client, a global blasting company, is looking for a bilingual, Operational Sales Manager to join their team! As the Operational Sales Manager, you are a key member of our sales department you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence within the mining sector. • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets in the mining industry.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and engineering to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and presentations to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the client.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
• WHO YOU ARE:
• Proven track record of success in sales roles within the mining industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience within the mining, blasting, and explosives sector
• Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, processes, and technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
