Line Cook – New Restaurant Opening

Who We Are

Davie Social is a contemporary Mexican–Canadian fusion restaurant opening at 1202 Davie Street in Vancouver’s vibrant West End. Our menu blends modern brunch and dinner with bold flavors, quality ingredients, and thoughtful execution.
We’re building our opening kitchen team and looking for skilled, motivated line cooks who want to be part of something from day one.

A Day in the Life at Davie Social

As a Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in delivering consistently high-quality dishes during service. You’ll work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to maintain standards, efficiency, and flow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and plating standards

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety at your station

• Work efficiently during high-volume service periods

• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and leadership

• Assist with prep, stocking, and station setup/teardown

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• Previous line cook or BOH experience preferred

• Strong work ethic and ability to perform under pressure

• Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude

• Ability to prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Opening experience is an asset

• Food Safe Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
