Our mission at BATL is to show people the power of being good to each other using the axe as a tool to build community. Founded in 2006, we’re immensely proud to have been the first organization in the world to offer indoor venues to experience the thrill of axe throwing in leagues, group parties, walk-ins, and team building. We continue to further our promise to be as inclusive as possible in our work and play environment. We actively work to create a sense of belonging to welcome a diversity of perspectives which reflect the greater communities in which we operate. Unlike most sports, our throwers always compete head-to-head with no separation by gender identity or physical disability, whether in league, events, or tournament play.
