I worked at the Cactus Club Cafe on Robson Street in Vancouver for many years when it was open. The location closed soon after the COVID pandemic. Working at Cactus Robson was to date, the most enjoyable job that I've ever had in my 22 year working history. The training is second to none. You are so prepared when you hit the floor. Supportive management and staff, good career opportunities and great tips. At Cactus, you do your own cash out and keep your own tips. They are never pooled. If you give it 110%, you can make really decent money as a Server at Cactus Club. There were times that I would walk away with up to $380 in tips on a really good night. You have to be knowledgeable, high energy, super social and fast on your feet to survive and do well here.

Some of the best management I've encountered in the industry. They provide comprehensive training for all new servers, and compensation is great during the busy season.
