CAGNEYS RESTAURANT & WINE BAR
Cagney’s Restaurant has called Streetsville home for 40 years and has truly embodied what it means to be a family business. Originally opened in 1974, Cagney’s quickly became a favourite spot for locals. Family secret recipes like the signature Caesar salad, ribs and chicken wings were known for being the best in town.
In 2013 as the restaurant approached it’s 40th anniversary, it was time for a change. Co-owner Alexander Lassos and father Gus Lassos (an original owner) renovated the restaurant together. Inspired to bring a piece of downtown Toronto to Streetsville while maintaining the friendly atmosphere of a family-owned business, the pair did just that.
The décor of Cagney’s changed dramatically, bringing an upscale feel to the Mississauga steakhouse. Cagney’s is now fully equipped with a beautiful bar, full wine cellar, large plush booths, huge chandeliers and ambient (sometimes live) music. The atmosphere is perfect for any occasion; after-work drinks, business lunches, date nights, family dinners and corporate events.
The menu at Cagney’s has followed suit. Maintaining staples like the infamous Caesar salad, Cagney’s has added mouth-watering dishes and signature cocktails to the menu, all made fresh. Crowd favourites include the rack of lamb and any of the steaks.
Cagney’s also has regular events and specials. From Oyster Monday's to Wine Down Wednesday’s, Cagney’s has something every day of the week. Cagney’s also hosts special events and functions, making your event a memorable one.
