It was perfect for some one like me that was new to Canada, despite having experience. The general manager was like a gentle giant & friendly which made me feel less threatened especially by lower ranked managers that seemed inexperienced. Rest of the stuff was amazing and helpful too. One or two managers who were foreign had not yet adapted to the more polite and humane Canadian ways of communicating with certain stuff members. HR seemed distant and disconnected from us. I never knew who to approach and discuss the possibility of extending my stay, if that was even an option. Yes it was a seasonal hire, but in the end, we got no feedback on our performance nor did they even offers references. I gave a 3* because the particular restaurant I worked in (out of the group of 5), will always hold a place as my first restaurant job in Canada.
