King Taps preaches a family and inclusive environment, but fails to follow through on most of those promises. The culture was catty at times and shift leaders who have no business leading, using popularity and favouritism, instead of equality. The tip out was extremely high, and a portion of it when to management, but they were never upfront with what the breakdown of your tip out was going to. it was 8-10% of your overall sales as a server. The shift flexibility was good, usually there was always someone willing to pickup, trade or give away shifts and with a restaurant that large, it was ideal.
