Well back when lavelle was a club on the weekends and Wednesdays I would barback for summer. The environment and energy was amazing back then however it is not anymore as it’s a restaurant only now.

Cons; the management was forever changing every 2 weeks and they had like 12 managers who didn’t know their jobs and micromanaged but wrongly lol. Another con, no free food per shift or any benefits besides tips from customers. Tips used to be pretty good but I assume since lavelle is only a restaurant now and club nights made 90% of our sales that it’s much worse now even for tips.

Pros; club atmosphere ( that no longer exists and the views ). The food (that’s not free) is pre amazing tbh

Such a beautiful venue that has great potential the guests are always having a great time. But all the cons are about how the business is run. I got fired in a retraining session for new items. Asking someone about the tastings and they assumed I wasn’t taking it seriously. I had already been working there for a bit but they rehired 150 new staff after Covid was phasing out. And then handed me a paper that stated I was banned for 12 months from their premise. A few other people got the same letter. Toxic environment that creates a lot of hostility. And in terms of where all the tips go was pretty sketch too bc of tip pool.

-i guarantee you will leave work in a bad mood most days
-upper management is inefficient and confused
