Working at Maker can be an extremely demanding experience, but it has definitely been one of my favourite places to work overall. Management was great when I was there, and would generally do their best to accommodate time off requests and changes to availability (within reason). That being said, however, things could get tense during the dinner rush and on holidays, and of course, emotions could run high. This isn't particularly unique to Maker and is something that happens in just about any restaurant, but I do think its worth noting.

Was an interesting ride in a growing Company, many bumps in there road to pave out. The people they have in charge of talking to managers should probably have a better idea of the day to day operations. Understandably hard to be boots on the ground when you have so many locations, Words and actions of upper management just failed to line up. I decided that I didn't want to represent a company that ran in this type of fashion.
