Good for what it is

For those who are new to the service industry it is a great spot with unbeatable hours. Tip pooling is not great for anyone, but it is decent enough for a brunch spot. I would not say you are fairly compensated here for your work though.

If you're looking for a stable, consistent and rewarding opportunity I don't think you'll find a more restaurant group with more commitment and integrity than OEB. From store management to regionals to ownership I've never worked within a better culture. They ask a lot of their staff but reciprocate more frequently than most restaurants I've ever worked with.

Always really busy. Short shifts with too many staff hired so you lose out on full time hours once summer is over. Management get share in tips but typically don't work and stand around talking. Colleagues are mostly lovely.
