Railway Stage & Beer Cafe is an iconic music venue in Vancouver set to reopen April 2017. Music and live entertainment are a focus including an open mic & live comedy night. 32 draught taps focused on local craft and rotating selections as well as a food menu featuring homemade soups, fresh salads and pressed deli sandwiches.
Thomas Anselmi (Waldorf, Fox Cabaret) will curate the weekly programming and renovations will include a new stage and sound system. The former Railway Club got its start in 1932 as a members-only club for railway workers and became an iconic music venue in the 80's and 90's hosting the likes of Radiohead, k.d. lang, Los Lobos, and the Tragically Hip.
