People come and go and new dynamics are always being made in the work environment but there is always an effort to really work as a team, and it's necessary for such a busy restaurant.

The best part about working at the tea house would be the team you’re working with. Everyone’s moods are normally great even when it’s busy and stressful there’s always helping hands so you never get overwhelmed and it is in a beautiful location.

Fun place to work as everyone is there to help each other get through the busy shift and have fun while doing so. Fast paced, so be prepared to hustle hard during the rush. Once Fall comes along it dies down so it’s great for students.

I worked here during the summer of 2021. The management at this restaurant was fantastic. The executive chef at the time was a nice and understanding person. The experience while working is alright with free meals and drinks provided on shift, coworkers around you helping you whenever things would get tiring (usually weekends). There were some cons when working here such as Payroll being done by cheque instead of direct deposit. Another thing was they tried to get me to work after I specifically notified them that I was getting my second dosage of the COVID-19 shot, I told them that I was not able to work and they still tried to get me to come in. While I do understand that they were short staffed that day, I was not in the capacity to work with my arms being sore and my head having a fever. When I first applied I told them that I was going to be working full time however due to some complications I was only able to work part time and they understood that and let me work part time. There is no staff room for breaks and meals. One thing I noticed was there were other dishwashers getting paid more than me even after working later than me and that was something I was not happy with.
