Overall a really fun place to work and meet new people. Great opportunity for newcomers as the clientele includes a lot of travellers and recent immigrants. Amazing coworkers. Easy to request time off in advance. Dress code allows you to show self expression. Lots of fun events planned (especially during the summertime) that are fun to work and usually bring in great tips. Great place for people with big personalities that feel squashed by more corporate environments. The vibe is the total opposite of snobby industry energy. If you are not a total snore or a bully, you will have fun.

Some cons: very little room for growth within the company. High turnover amongst staff, inadequate training. Management is disorganized. Lots of nepotism, scheduling and promotion depends more on who you know or are related to than anything else. It is the Cambie, so expect a chaotic energy. One big thing to say is that I was treated more like a human being here than by any other company I have worked for in the past.
