We refer to Whitehorse as "the California of the North". Surprisingly sophisticated with a great arts & music scene, ready access to unbelievable wilderness, a growing food scene and a stable economy. Whitehorse is isolated but definitely in the 21st century. Relatively cheap access to the outside world with Air North, Yukon's Airline but unique in character. So many people have come for the summer - 10 or 20 years ago.
